Dreams and Dilemmas
‘Dreams and Dilemmas’ is geared for Jewish educators looking to explore the challenges facing Israeli society after October 7th, 2023. This educational journey explores complex questions confronting different groups and communities, acknowledging that simple answers are elusive due to two key factors.:
-
First, the Jewish people's internal diversity leads to fundamentally different values, worldviews, and goals, resulting in varied responses to hard questions.
-
Second, these questions are dilemmas without cost-free resolutions, requiring difficult trade-offs and balancing of costs and benefits.
This approach is educationally valuable as it encourages exploration of diverse perspectives within communities, develops empathy and fosters critical thinking skills. By highlighting the complexity of these issues, educators can help students understand that answers are often provisional and that ongoing conversations are necessary to address the core aspects of their situation.

We are dedicated to engaging young adults as they explore the complexities of Israel and Jewish identity, fostering meaningful connections and understanding in an increasingly challenging landscape. Our initiatives empower individuals to navigate their beliefs confidently while building supportive communities celebrating diversity and inclusivity. Our programs have made a significant impact in the following areas:
